Kaleigh (Coach Kay) has been a Sumter, SC native her entire life. Graduated from Lakewood High school 2012, then going to USC Sumter graduating with a Degree in Science. Coach Kay started dancing at the young age of 3 at Freed School of Performing Arts totaling 17 years of dance experience. A member of Sumter Chamber of Commerce. Coach Kay started Kay Diamonds in 2019 as just a dance team and now has expanded it to be a full Dance school. Coach Kay is CPR and First Aid Certified. Coach Kay's goal is to allow students to be able to take different genres of dance for a lesser price.
Kareem Mack is our Head Majorette coach. Kareem has been dancing for 16 years. He is self taught in the dance world in ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Jazz and Majorette. He started perfecting his craft as a Crestwood High school Knightengals dance team. He has a love and passion for dance and he can't wait to see what the future holds for himself here at Kay Diamonds.
Riquelle is a native of Sumter, SC. In 2015, she obtained her BA in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science and minor in Dance. She then went on to complete her Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from Columbia College. Riquelle began her gymnastics career at the age of 3 and was a competitive gymnast for several years. Throughout high school and college she competed for several all-star cheerleading teams in addition to cheering for her school. She has 10 + years of coaching experience in gymnastics, cheer and tumbling. Riquelle hopes to inspire her students to push for their personal best and never give up!
Justin is a Sumter, SC native. Justin has been stepping for 9 years and has been coaching step for the past 5 years. He started his stepping career in 2012 apart of a organization called C Phi Smoov Step & Dance Inc. Since then he has been coaching 3rd through 5th grade students at Pocalla Springs Elementary school. Justin is currently a student at USC Sumter majoring in Music Education with a minor in acting. Justin loves working with kids and teaching them the wonderful art of stepping. Justin always tells his students "Never tell yourself no because your potential is limitless". Justin is ready and excited about his new opportunities with Kay Diamonds.
